Advanced Options Dialog, Named Output Tab
In most cases, Named Output can be overlooked sinceBentley Advanced Map Finishing can now print directly to Windows printers. Print files can be sent directly to specific paths or devices.
Example path field values:

LPT1 - outputs directly to the parallel port LPT1.

\\Server\Printer - outputs to a network printer (if configured correctly).

D:\Spool\*DGNNAME.ps - a file is created in the D:\Spool directory. The filename consists of the current DGN name with a .ps extension. The *DGNNAME is substituted with the name section of the current DGN file being printed.

C:\Temp\file.ps - always prints to a file in the C:\Temp directory with filename.ps.
